I'm Jae, the photographer at Felin Studio. For several years, I was in front of the camera as a model, and I loved it. While I still enjoy that part of creating, I stepped behind the camera starting in 2023 after I moved to Southwest Wales from London, and I am fortunate to have a studio in my house. The purpose of learning to shoot photos was initially to continue my creative interests by learning to take self portraits as I moved away from a big city where I had the opportunity to collaborate with so many amazing photographers. However, I found that I really enjoy photographing others when I can work with someone to capture the essence of who they are, at least in part.
My strong areas of interest are soulful portraits and physique photography.
